Rescue is rapidly taken up into the plant and quickly moves through the plant to leaf tip and roots.

Rescue is no longer available for sale or use in the UK. The product was withdrawn from sale in June 2018, with a 12-month use-up for end users by June 2019. Any information herewith is purely for reference for previous applications of Rescue during its approved period of use. 

Rescue is a highly selective grass weed herbicide, for the removal of Ryegrass whilst leaving fine turf grasses unaffected. Rescue is approved for use across the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, approaches, semi-rough and rough A herbicide for post emergence reduction of ryegrass on managed amenity turf (golf greens, bowling greens) and amenity grassland (golf fairways, semi-rough and rough).

Implementation particular terms

Even cover of the weeds is essential for good results. Apply through a conventional hydraulic sprayer using a pressure of 2-4 bars. Apply as a MEDIUM spray. Knapsack Sprayers For Autumn applications use 10 ml in 2.5 - 5.0 litres of water to treat an area of 100 square metres. For spring application use 13.3 ml in 2.5 - 5.0 litres of water to treat an area of 100 square metres.

Mixing and spraying

Half fill the spray tank with CLEAN water and start agitation. Shake the container and add the correct amount of RESCUE to the sprayer using a filling device (e.g. induction hopper) or by direct addition to the spray tank. Complete filling and agitate thoroughly. Continue agitation during spraying and stoppages. Wash out container thoroughly. Preferably use an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinse three times. Add washings to the sprayer at the time of filling.
