Golf featured for the first time at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and give a welcome boost for the game's profile. The new Olympic Course was declared a great success.

Brazil's highest ranking player in the competition, Alexandre Rocha, said: "This is the future for us.

"Our existing courses are old and this is modern golf. We have plenty of land in this country to be able to make more courses like this."
