Targeting turf applications

Glenn Kirby explains whys it's crucial to establish the target you want to hit before setting up the sprayer.

He details the challenges when spraying greens, compared fairways or tees - and the implication for the water volumes required and appropriate nozzle selection for the treatment being applied.

Glenn also highlights the need for a 'conscious compromise', when practical necessity can dictate decisions on what you do. He suggests when that might be acceptable, and where the focus on optimum application is essential.
